Playa Ballena “Bahia de las Ballenas” is part of the Guánica State Forest & Biosphere Reserve. Playa Ballena is a long beach great for those that love beach hikes, we often find beautiful bleached wood branches along the shore and pretty shells. We love this beach when there are no crowds, we come during the week and we have it to ourselves, park our chairs on the sand and enjoy the simplicity of island life by the sea. Depending on the time of year and weather the waters can be wild or calm enough for getting in and play a little.
